TORCH AWARD
The Assistance League of Greater Cincinnati has been named a 2007 Honoree for the Marketplace Ethics Award given by the Better Business Bureau. They were judged in the Under 5 Million Dollar Non-profit Category. The award focuses on ethical standards of practices regarding volunteers, donors and the communities served. The Assistance League was invited by the Better Business Bureau to apply for this award as they met the standards for Charitable Accountability. The engraved glass plaque denoting Assistance League as an honoree is on display at the Ruth Prall Center in Bond Hill.
Organizations of Noteworthy Excellence
ONE AWARD
Assistance League of Greater Cincinnati was recognized as the Performance Category winner of the coveted ONE Award in October, 2009. "We now have public affirmation that we are doing the right thing in the right way", said Diana Haskell, President Elect. The award is based on an extensive application process using criteria adapted from the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award Program.
It recognizes and encourages best practices among Greater Cincinnati nonprofits.

LEARN Award 2010 Winner Organization
The Strive Partnership named Assistance League of Greater Cincinnati the winner of the first annual LEARN Award in the organization category. TheLEARN (LeadingEducationAdvocacyReformNow) Awards recognize those in our community who are making a difference in the lives of students in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Assistance League was recognized for the award because of its Operation School Bell school uniform and tutoring programs for disadvantaged youth.
