BBB Accredited CharityEach year, the BBB Torch Awards program helps illuminate the importance of a marketplace where buyers and sellers, and donors and charities can trust each other. BBB's Torch Awards promote trust in the marketplace and honor local businesses and public charities for their outstanding commitment to fair, honest, and ethical marketplace practices.

Assistance League is proud to join the finalists in this important recognition of our day to day practices. Click here for the invitation to the Torch Award dinner and announcement of honorees. If you want to attend, please send your check for $135.00 made payable to ALGC to Pam Brackett, Assistance League of Greater Cincinnati, 1057 Meta Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45237 by October 1. Pam will send checks to the BBB and arrange for seating together.

The 2011 BBB Torch Awards are set for 10/27/2011, please mark your calendars. We are looking forward to the 11th Annual BBB Torch Awards, to be held at the Duke Energy Convention Center again this year!

Assistance League is an all-volunteer, non-profit located in the Bond Hill area, collaborating with schools, hospitals and domestic violence shelters to provide new school clothing, tutoring, new household items, college supplies and a scholarship providing a hand-up to children and adults who are victims of poverty, abuse or violence.

Improving the education experience each year for 2100 financially disadvantaged children and adults. Restoring dignity annually to over 2000 women traumatized by domestic violence and assault.
Operation School Bell® is the official program of National Assistance League. Locally, Operation School Bell provides under-privileged children with school uniforms, jackets, socks, underwear, hygiene supplies, and shoes.
