The Aspire Cincinnati™ Award Luncheon was created by Assistance League to honor a local community leader and philanthropist with a “Passion to Inspire and Aspire” and a commitment to giving back to the local community.

The Aspire Cincinnati™ Award is a large vase-like urn opening in an upward reaching manner, created by local clay artist Sandy Manteuffel.  Words like Inspire, Integrity, Service, Passion, Compassion, Honor, Empower, Dignity and Respect are the framework of this unique, one-of-a-kind award and reflect the missions of Assistance League and the award honorees.

Strengthening Our Community
Assistance League has been a leader in strengthening our community through its programs to aid adults and children.  This year Heidi Jark was honored by receiving the Aspire Cincinnati™ Award. Also recognized was the Charles H. Dater Foundation.
As senior Vice President and managing director of the foundation office at Fifth Third Bank, Ms. Jark has played a significant role in strengthening our community throughout her career. She has served on Volunteers for Ohio Division of American Cancer Society and Greater Cincinnati Planned Giving Council.
Bruce Krone, President, Secretary and Director of the Board of Directors of the Charles H. Dater Foundation received a beautiful plaque in recognition of the generous and consistent support of Operation School Bell®. 3800 children from local schools received school clothes this past year.
The keynote speaker was Edmund J. Adams.  Mr. Adams is a retired attorney from Frost Brown Todd and has been a longtime supporter and promoter of Assistance League. He challenged the attendees to share in the joy and rewards of volunteer work.

Thank you to our Sponsors and Supporters: Western & Southern Financial Group, The Farmer Family Foundation, Walter and Marlena Frank, Habegger Corporation, Huntington, Office Key, Mt. Washington Florist, Sandy Manteuffel, and Peerless Printing & Mailing.
