Lacey and Anna, from Roger Bacon High School, spent time assembling New Beginnings kits for survivors of domestic violence. These kits, consisting of 47 essential household items, provide a valuable resource to individuals and their children who are rebuilding their lives, saving them an estimated $185. The dedication of volunteers like Lacey and Anna ensures that families in need can allocate their limited resources to other pressing concerns, such as food, clothing, and additional support.

The ALCares4Kids Program is truly making a difference in the lives of children in Kinship and Foster Care, and it's inspiring to see the community come together to support this vital initiative. This generous donation of diapers and baby wipes from Sims-Lohman and other partners, with a total value of over $2,000, will help meet the essential needs of families for nearly two months. A heartfelt thank you to Sims-Lohman and all the generous donors for their commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of children in need.
