Assistance League of Greater Cincinnati participates in National AL Action Week with Reading Roundup on February 26!
The activity coordinated this year by ALGC to participate in National Assistance League Action Week was called Reading Round Up!
Our members sorted brand new books that were given to about 200 children at Bond Hill Academy. Our crew helped pack books for Pre-k through 3rd grade children to select and keep as their own. We worked with teachers and staff to identify appropriate leveled books for each of the children. Additionally, we also donated new and slightly used books to the school’s media center.
Working along side the Resource Coordinator at Bond Hill Academy, our volunteers read to the children and assisted them in selecting the perfect book for them! It was a wonderful visit not only for the children, but also our amazing hardworking volunteers.
